Truly experienced disaster managers are a rare breed. Emergencies do not care if we are ready or not and therefore we have limited control over our learning curve. Sure, we can attend trainings and exercises, but as young professionals those aren’t held as often as we would hope. Often enough we are left to make our own experiences (or even mistakes) in order to learn.
So what I would like to offer to you are the little nuggets of knowledge that I pick up on my way. All packed into short blog posts.
